The Amsterdam Law Practice is a unique educational programme for Master's students of the Amsterdam Law School. Reflection on your own experiences and the development of a professional identity are central to this programme. As a student, you apply your academic knowledge of the law and the skills you have learned by taking on various legal roles, in practice or in simulated situations. The subjects thus build a bridge to society and the future professional field.
The experiential education of the Amsterdam Law Practice (ALP) ensures a good connection to the future working field. The education programme offers a contemporary way of learning in which reflection on one's own experiences and the development of a professional identity are central. Students learn by doing and work together with other students to solve social problems.
All Master's students (except students of the Master's Law & Finance) can take 6 EC experiential courses. On the page about the study programme of your Master's programme you will find more information about the Amsterdam Law Practice subjects you can choose.
