Registration

Registration for the conference is now open. Registration fees are EUR 30 (ordinary)/ EUR 15 (students). Presenters at SPCL and ACBLPE conferences must be members of the SPCL or ACBLPE respectively. (See below.)

Registration includes the conference kit and abstracts book, and morning and afternoon coffee/tea breaks.
It does not include membership of the SPCL or the ACBLPE. It also does not include the conference dinner.

Please complete the registration form, which can be found below, and return it to us preferably by 11 May 2007 – this is to allow us to estimate numbers for printing and catering purposes, including reservation for the conference dinner. Payment is to be made in cash at the conference.

Membership in SPCL or ACBLPE

Presenters at SPCL or ACBLPE conferences must be members of the SPCL or ACBLPE respectively; with co-
authored presentations, at least one author should be a member.

SPCL membership involves subscription to the Journal of Pidgin and Creole Languages  the subscription fee  includes the annual dues established by the Executive Council. Students who wish to become members of SPCL but are not able to subscribe to JPCL may become members at no charge sending an electronic request for membership to the Executive Secretary, Rocky Meade.

ACBLPE membership may be obtained by paying the membership fee at the conference or by sending an
electronic request for membership to the Treasurer, Fernanda Pratas.

Conference Dinner

The conference dinner will be held on the second evening of the conference, Tuesday 19 June 2007, 20.30 hrs. This will be a typical Dutch East Indies rijsttafel – which will have dishes for vegetarians – at an Indonesian restaurant. Since we have to notify the restaurant in advance about the number of dinner participants, we would appreciate it if you could indicate your attendance at the dinner on the registration form. Payment is to be made in cash at the conference.
