SIGN-HUB Summer School

From June 11–15, 2018, the SIGN-HUB & CNRS summer school will take place in Como (Italy).

The summer school is open to Master's students, graduate students and junior researchers who either already have familiarity with sign language research but are not trained in formal linguistics or are trained in formal linguistics but are not yet familiar with sign language linguistics.

The programme consists of three courses, which are taught every day:

  • Formal approaches to sign language linguistics (Diane Brentari – University of Chicago);
  • Issues in Deaf history (Yann Cantin – CNRS-Paris 8);
  • (Sign) language impairments and assessment (Naama Friedmann – Tel Aviv University).
