PhD defence ceremony

Leonie Visser investigates the impact of oncologists' communication during medical consultations on patients' recall of the information provided during those consultations. She focuses specifically on the potentially mediating role of emotional stress in this relation. The aim is to gain more insight and use this to inform communication skills training for medical students and oncologists.
