ACELG guest researcher Pierluigi Cuccuru
In the months February and March, ACELG welcomes Pierluigi Cuccuru, PhD candidate at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna.
Pierluigi graduated in Law summa cum laude at the University of Pisa (2014). He then trained as a research assistant at the Centre for European Law and Internationalisation (CELI) at the University of Leicester, before being admitted to the Ph.D. program at Sant'anna School of Advanced Studies (Pisa) with a project about the European Standardisation System. In 2017, Pierluigi spent four months at the Brussels School of International Studies - University of Kent, further refining his research. His research interests lie in technical harmonisation and standards within the EU legal order - with special attention paid to judicial review and stakeholders involvement issues - and free movement law, as well as contract automation through blockchain technologies, a topic he studied in partnership with the Italian Securities and Exchange Commission (CONSOB).
